²n. Type of vacation where the majority, if not all, elements are combined into one package.
³n. A resort in which the price includes lodging, meals, activities, and in most cases, drinks.

¹A room or cabin aboard a ship (usu. cruise ship) that, with access from a door, features a private outdoor seating or standing area with a balustrade or railing along its outer edge. See also: Verandah Stateroom
²An optimal place to enjoy: your morning coffee to an ocean sunrise, a private dinner with a romantic view of the open water, a good book, a breath of fresh sea air, a stunning view of the natural scenery, or just some quality alone-time.
³The best choice of stateroom below a suite when sailing Alaska, Europe, or any scenic cruise destination.
“When I set my heart on a Mediterranean cruise, it’s a good thing my Holiday Cruises & Tours travel agent recommended a balcony stateroom—there’s nothing like breathing in the sea air while sailing past the Greek Isles.”
Escorted Tour (noun, pron. “ƏS’kôr’tǝd TŪR”)
¹ A prearranged travel program, usually for a group, conducted by a guide or tour director who takes care of all services from beginning to end of the tour. A full package usually includes flights, hotels, transportation, transfers to the airport/hotel, most meals and sightseeing and are typically conducted by motorcoach. They can be fast-paced, with no more than 2 nights spent in each location, or more leisurely, with more time spent overnight at each locale.
“Originally, we were going to book a cruise around the British Isles, but in order for us to REALLY experience the Irish culture, our vacation counselor at Holiday Cruises & Tours suggested an escorted tour by motorcoach instead.”
Onboard Credit (noun, pron. “AWN’bôrd KRƏD’it”)
¹ Money that is applied to your cabin’s charge account as a credit, therefore reducing your bill at the end of your cruise by that amount. Often offered as a part of a promotion given by Holiday Cruises & Tours and sometimes given by the cruise line itself. Can be used to cover a variety of expenses during your cruise vacation (i.e. your BAR BILL, soft drinks, shore excursions, gratuities that haven’t been pre-paid, souvenirs from the gift shop…pretty much anything that can be purchased onboard the ship). In short, it’s like having a little gift card while on your cruise. See also: Shipboard Credit

²Any place visited on a traveller’s itinerary.
